Groomer: Melissa Lockhart
About Melissa: Melissa has been a groomer for 8 years. She joined Lawndale Veterinary Hospital in August of 2013. In her spare time, Melissa loves playing with her 5 dogs (she is pictured here with Lilly) and her 2 cats.
What to Expect: When your pet comes in for grooming, Melissa takes the time to make them look and feel their best! In addition to the bathing and clipping, she also cleans the ears (and trims/ plucks the ear hair if needed), trims the nails, and checks the anal glands. Since Melissa is part of Lawndale Veterinary Hospital, she also notifies a doctor if she sees any areas of concern that may need to be addressed medically. Melissa is available to groom Monday through Friday.
