Puppy Month and our Puppy Care Fair!

2016-03-04

In March, we are focusing on one of our favorite topics at Lawndale Veterinary Hospital – puppies! Adorable, sweet, cute, and cuddly, they always find a way to bring smiles to our faces and warm our hearts. On Tuesday evening, March 15th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM we will be holding another ‘Paws and Learn’ event – our second annual Puppy Care Fair.

The Puppy Care Fair is one of the many ways we partner with puppy owners to provide tips and resources to help puppies grow up healthy and safe. We will have information on topics such as wellness care, puppy training, parasite prevention, vaccinations, first aid, nutrition, microchips, pet insurance, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Come learn about why your puppy needs a series of vaccines as they are growing and developing in the early months. Ask us about behavioral concerns you might be having with your puppy (correcting behavioral problems in the puppy months can minimize or prevent behavioral problems in your adult dog). Make sure you understand how to prevent heartworm disease, intestinal parasite problems, and flea and tick infestations in your puppy. We can also help you understand what parasites can be zoonotic, or transmitted from animals to humans. We have information about these topics, and so much more!

All puppies (and their owners!) are invited! With lots of great information, free puppy goodies, free food, a discount towards your puppy’s spay or neuter procedure, and the chance to win a free microchip, you don’t want to miss this event! And, who doesn’t love a chance to see a bunch of cute puppies playing and having fun together?

RSVP by March 9th by calling (336-288-3233), emailing (receptiondesk@lawndalevets.com), or replying on Facebook (www.facebook.com/lawndalevets). We look forward to seeing you and your puppy at the Puppy Care Fair!
