Why We Love Rosie: Rosie is adorable and hilarious! She doesn’t always want to see us and will put the “breaks” on when she gets here. Even though she doesn’t love to see us, we love to see her!
August Pet: Oswald, the snake

Why We Love Oswald: Oswald is a wild snake and was brought to us to have some wounds treated. He loves mice, basking in the sun, and made friends with our hospital cat, Beaker. Recently, we were able to release him back to the wild!
July Pet: Bodie McMillion

Age: 10 years
Why We Love Bodie: Bodie recently had surgery and has been so brave during his recovery. He is so handsome and we’re so happy he is feeling better!
June Pet: Mason Russell (In Memoriam)

Why We Loved Mason: Mason was a figher. He was here a lot because he was receiving chemo. He always tried to outwit us when were giving him his meds but he was so sweet and strong and had the most loving family. He will be missed!
May Pet: Lou Plummer

Why We Love Lou: Lou is so special and so sweet and has the cutest little dangly tongue. Lou had most of her lower jaw removed in a surgery performed by Dr. Crawford and has done so well and is happy! Make sure you check out our blog post about Lou’s surgery!
April Pet: Miles Kelling (In Memoriam)
Breed: Golden Retriever Mix
Age: 5/1/13-3/25/25
Why We Loved Miles: Miles was found in Afganastan in 2017 during the war and had multiple broken bones. He was brought to the United States by his new family and received the medical care he needed. Over the years, he dealt with multiple health problems and his family gave him such wonderful care. Although his early years were very tough, he found a loving home and family for the last 8 years of his life and he loved going for walks and spending time in the grass outside. Miles was very special and is missed dearly.

Why We Love Birdie: Birdie is sweet and perfect and cute and we all just love her.

January Pet: Sammy Jones (In Memoriam)

Why We Loved Sammy: For January’s pet of the month, we want to remember Sammy Jones. Sammy visited us multiple times every week for the last several months. Sammy was one of our favorite patients. He was a spit fire with lots of personality and is missed greatly.
